Emergency Arbitration under BANI Rules 2025 compared with SIAC Rules 2025 and ICC Rules 2021

Recently, the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (“BANI”) has released its newest set of Arbitration Rules and Procedures for 2025 (“BANI Rules 2025”). The BANI Rules 2025 introduce several adjustment and advancements such as: (i) adjustment to consolidation, multiparty, and multi-contract arbitration; (ii) expanded grounds for challenging arbitrators; and (iii) emergency arbitration.
